7 year old Zoe came into rescue in February.  She is very ready to find her forever home!  

She loves to play with her fosters dogs, and has a mellow temperament except when she gets disturbed from her lazy slumber.

Zoe’s likes- belly rubs, back scratches and snuggles

Zoe’s dislikes- loud noises, quick movements and sleeping by herself.  She also doesn't do stairs very well.

One thing she asks is that she finds a home only with older kids who are respectful to her.  She's been through a lot in her little life and wants to know she's safe, loved and always taken care of. 

We know she's good with dogs, she just hasn't been around cats, so that's an unknown.

Zoe is from a puppy mill.  She would be fine as an only dog.  We can't guarantee she will engage with another dog, so she may not be the right fit if you're looking for a companion dog for your own dog.  Patience is a must with her.  Rescues take time to get to know their new environment.  That means for the first few weeks they may potty in the house, not listen, cry, but they will eventually calm down when given patience, love and time.
