Look who’s ready to be adopted!, it’s April! April is a 3 year old Shih Tzu who is learning to live life outside the puppy mill. She has been spayed, teeth cleaned and given the necessary shots.
She’s incredibly sweet, cuddly, and happiest when she feels safe beside her people. Once she trusts you, she’ll happily snuggle close and quietly soak up affection.
April is good with other dogs and will need a calm, confident, mellow canine companion in her forever home to help show her the ropes and reassure her that everything is okay. She ignores cats.
Because of her past, April can still startle easily and is learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. She’s making progress every day, and with patience, love, and routine, her confidence will continue to blossom. She doesn’t like squeaky toys at all and will run and hide when she hears them. She does love socks! We call her the little sock goblin she sleeps with a sock every night in our bed!
She is a door bolter, fast and sneaky about it! will need a secure fence when outside.

My adoption fee, including MN state taxes, is $429.10. I'm available to adopt within a 50 mile radius of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis/Saint Paul.
