"Hi! I'm Sadie Girl, nice to meet you! I am a senior girl but I don't consider myself a senior. I like to be active when I am not cuddling and napping with my foster mom. I even enjoy young children - I surprised my foster mom at the eye doctor by going right up to a little boy who wanted to pet me and giving him a kiss on his cheek! In fact, I love everyone I meet. I get along with my foster brother very well, but I don't know what cats are. I am looking for a home where my new family will be home with me most of the time, as I have a lot of love left to give them! Here is my story, My owner became ill and was unable to take good care of me. Then she died, and I was very sad! Her family decided to surrender me to NorthStar Shih Tzu Rescue, where they could give me the care I need. I had an ugly growth on my ear, so they took me to a vet and had it removed. Then my left eye was pretty awful looking, so next they took me to a veterinary eye specialist - she said I have a hyper mature cataract in that eye, and have no vision in it. But she gave my foster mom some ointment to put in my eye, and it feels much better now. Next my breath was pretty stinky, so I got a dental and they found that all my teeth were rotten and infected - so they had to take them out. But I can eat just fine, especially the chicken my foster mom feeds me with my food. My vision is a bit limited, especially at night, but isn't everyone's as they age? So please don't hold my age against me, I'd love to come live with you, and promise to follow you wherever you go!" Sadie is potty-trained and UTD on vetting.
